This small-group tour lasts about four hours and fifteen minutes and begins with a drive along the Bow Valley Parkway from Banff National Park. A professional local guide provides information and stories about the area during the trip. The tour includes two scheduled stops, each lasting approximately thirty minutes. The first stop is at Lake Louise, where visitors can walk along the shoreline, view Victoria Glacier, and see the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. The second stop is at Moraine Lake, where guests can choose to walk up to the viewpoint or stroll along the lake’s edge to observe the blue waters and the Ten Peaks. Return transport to Banff is included. The group size is limited to twenty-four guests per guide. Hotel pickup and drop-off are available on request; otherwise, pickup is from the public bus parking located behind the Mount Royal Hotel. A maple cookie snack and bottled water are provided during the tour. Note that the access road to Moraine Lake is closed until late May and from early October onwards; during these times, the tour will spend one hour at Lake Louise instead of visiting Moraine Lake.
