This parasailing tour on the Big Island of Hawaii takes you over the Kona Coast, offering aerial views of the island. The tour lasts about one hour, including time on the boat and the flight itself. Flights reach heights of either 800 or 1200 feet, with airborne times of 6 and 9 minutes respectively. The operator uses US Coast Guard certified boats that hold up to 12 passengers but limit shared charter trips to 8 passengers for comfort. The flight uses a unique over-the-shoulder harness system to keep you secure throughout. All necessary equipment is provided. The boat ride can last between 40 minutes and one hour. After booking, you must contact the local supplier to confirm boarding and departure times; boarding begins 30 minutes before departure. Weather conditions affect the tour and cancellations offer a choice of rescheduling or a refund. Guests must meet weight and age requirements: 160 pounds minimum to fly solo, with maximum tandem/triple weight between approximately 450 and 550 pounds, subject to captain’s discretion. Children five years and older may participate or observe, but minors under 18 need a parent or guardian's signed consent. Gratuities and hotel transfers are not included.

Parasailers MUST WEIGH AT LEAST 160 pounds in order to fly alone. Tandem and triple flights are available with a max weight limit of 450-550 pounds. The captain can increase or decrease these restrictions at their sole discretion based on safety, wind, and sea conditions.
