This four-hour bike tour covers about 12 kilometers through central Bogotá. You will ride mostly on flat terrain, stopping frequently to explore several areas. The route includes the historical center and La Candelaria neighborhood, where you can see street art and local architecture. The tour passes by city parks, Plaza de Toros, and the Museo Nacional, showing different economic and architectural zones. You will visit a traditional fruit market and sample fruit salads, juices, barbecued meats, corn-on-the-cob, and other typical Colombian street foods during a break in Parque Nacional. The group also stops at a coffee factory. There is a chance to see or play tejo, Colombia’s national sport. Throughout the tour, a bilingual guide is present to assist and provide information. The tour includes use of a bicycle and helmet. Food and drinks at cafes, such as coffee, are not included. Note that the fruit market only accepts cash in Colombian pesos, while the coffee roaster accepts both Colombian currency and credit cards.
