Overview

This guided day trip lasts about 7 hours and includes transportation from Malaga to Caminito del Rey. The group travels in an air-conditioned vehicle with private transportation and an official guide who speaks Spanish and English. Upon arrival, participants receive helmets and admission tickets for the trail. The Caminito del Rey walkway was once known as one of the world’s most dangerous paths but was rebuilt over four years and reopened in 2015. The guided walk along the cliffs lasts about three and a half hours and follows the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes canyon, including crossing a suspension bridge over 100 meters above the ground. The guide provides information about the trail’s history and reconstruction during the walk. The trip also includes a brief 30-minute stop in Ardales, a small white Andalusian town, where participants can use the restroom, buy coffee, or explore the local streets briefly. After the walk and the stop, the group returns by coach to Malaga. Lunch is not included on this trip.
