Overview

The highlight of this day trip is traveling along the Cinque Terre coast by boat, offering views of the five villages from the sea. The tour lasts about 13 hours and 20 minutes, starting early in the morning from Florence city center. Guests travel by bus to Cinque Terre, where they explore the villages using train and ferry tickets included in the full experience option. The five villages visited are Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore, all located on the Ligurian coast between Punta Mesco and Punta di Montenero. Visitors have free time to walk around the villages, relax by the sea, and sample local foods like pasta al pesto, olives, focaccia, and wine. A multilingual guide accompanies the group by bus, providing information during the transfers. For those who prefer to explore independently, a transfer-only option is available that includes transportation from Florence to Levanto but excludes train and boat tickets. Levanto is an ancient town at the start of the Cinque Terre area, set in a valley with olive trees and vines and part of the Cinque Terre National Park and Marine Protected Area. The tour returns to Florence in the evening at the city center. Wi-Fi is available on the bus. Note that from November to March, the boat service and street food tasting option are not available. Departure time is 7:00 AM until late February 2026 and 6:50 AM starting March 1, 2026.
