This cooking class lasts about three hours and takes place in one of the oldest stone cave houses in Megalochori village, which retains its traditional features. A local host and chef guide the group through preparing a five-course traditional Santorini lunch made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Participants also make and bake a typical local dessert. During the cooking and lunch, local Santorini Assyrtiko wine is served. After cooking, the meal is enjoyed at leisure in a traditional dining room or outside under a bougainvillea tree. All cooking equipment, ingredients, and alcoholic beverages are provided as part of the class.
