Overview
This 5.5-hour cooking class takes place in Taormina at Chef Massimo's house. It begins with a visit to the local market, where participants learn how to select fresh, seasonal ingredients from nearby producers, focusing on "zero kilometer" products and their uses in Sicilian cooking. After the market, the group returns to Chef Massimo's house, where the cooking takes place in a home-style kitchen with views of the surrounding area. Participants prepare traditional Sicilian dishes, including appetizers, first courses, and second courses, working together throughout the process. When the meal is ready, everyone sits down to eat the food they have prepared, accompanied by two local homemade wines. Bottled water and aprons are provided. Recipes in English are included, as well as a gift for each participant. All fees and taxes are covered.
