Overview

This 2-hour guided e-bike tour covers Copenhagen’s main sights, allowing participants to see in 2 hours what would normally take 3 hours on a regular bike. The electric bikes include helmets and baskets, and a radio system ensures that the guide can be heard clearly throughout the ride. The route passes through the inner city and Christianshavn, crossing cycle bridges to visit as many landmarks as possible. Stops include a 5-minute photo break at The Little Mermaid statue, where the guide explains the true story behind the figure. The tour continues with a close view of the Copenhagen Opera House, followed by a 5-minute photo stop at Nyhavn, known for its colorful houses. Christianshavn features Dutch-influenced architecture dating back 400 years. There is a 15-minute break in Christiania, a unique area established in an old military zone; participants can explore independently as guides are not allowed inside. Other sights along the route include Christiansborg Palace, home to the Danish parliament; Frederik's Church (Marmorkirken); Amalienborg Palace, the residence of the royal family; St. Alban's Church near the Citadel; the Royal Danish Theatre Playhouse; the King's New Square; and a distinctive black building marking the gateway to the inner city. Children aged 2 to 5 ride in child seats or trailers attached to a parent’s bike. Children aged 6 to 11 ride in a Christiania cargo-bike attached to an adult bike, which can carry up to two children. All participants must be comfortable riding a bike and meet the minimum height requirement of 155 to 160 cm. Meeting time is 15 minutes before departure.
