Overview

This guided bus tour lasts about seven and a half hours and covers key sites in the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) near Seoul. The tour includes visits to the Third Tunnel, DMZ Exhibition Hall, Dora Observatory, and the North Korea Experience Hall. Participants also pass by the Unification Village on the return trip. The guide explains the history of the Korean War and details about the division of the peninsula. Guests have the option to add a visit to the Gamaksan Chulleong Suspension Bridge, the longest mountain suspension bridge in South Korea, which opened in 2016. The bridge offers elevated views and commemorates the Gloucestershire Regiment soldiers who defended Seoul during the Korean War. If the suspension bridge is closed due to weather or security, the itinerary changes to include Odusan Unification Observatory instead. The tour includes a professional guide and limited pickup from designated locations. Visitors should be prepared for a day involving walking and some sloped areas, especially at the Third Tunnel. The tour operates year-round with alternate routes on Mondays, public holidays, or when some sites are closed for military reasons. In such cases, stops like the DMZ Peace Gondola and Gloster Hill Memorial Park replace certain original locations.
