Doi Inthanon, Thailand’s highest mountain at 2,565 meters, offers cool air and natural sights in Northern Thailand. This full-day bus tour lasts about 9 to 10 hours and includes transport by air-conditioned vehicle and an English-speaking guide. Hotel pickup and drop-off within Chiang Mai Old Town are provided. The tour begins with a visit to Wachirathan Waterfall, noted for its powerful cascade and frequent rainbows. Next is Sirithan Waterfall, viewed from a scenic lookout above the Mae Klang River. Visitors then see the King and Queen Royal Pagodas, built for the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit, surrounded by colorful gardens and mountain views. Afterward, the tour reaches the summit of Doi Inthanon National Park, where guests walk the Ang Ka Nature Trail, a wooden platform path through mossy forest featuring plants and birds adapted to the high altitude. The final stop is Baan Mae Klang Luang, a Karen hill tribe village known for its coffee plantations and rice terraces. Guests can taste locally grown coffee here. Entrance fees to the National Park (THB 300 per person) and Twin Pagodas (THB 100 per person) are not included and must be paid in cash during the tour. Lunch and personal expenses are also excluded.
