Overview

This 10-hour bus tour from Edinburgh visits two whisky distilleries and includes a stop in Aberfeldy village. The first stop is South Queensferry, where the group pauses for photos of the bridges. At Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery, guests take a guided tour of the distillery, warehouse, and heritage exhibition, followed by a tasting of the 12-year-old single malt whisky. Admission fees for the distilleries are not included. Afterward, there is time for lunch and to explore the village of Aberfeldy. The final distillery is Glenturret, near Crieff on the Turret River. It is Scotland’s oldest working distillery and uses the last hand-operated mash tun in Scotland. Visitors receive a tour and tasting here as well. If Glenturret is closed in January, the tour visits Blair Athol Distillery instead. The tour includes live commentary, a knowledgeable driver-guide, and air-conditioned transport. Food, drinks, gratuities, admission fees, on-board restrooms, and WiFi are not included.
