This about 7-hour snorkeling and wildlife tour visits Espiritu Santo Island, located in the Sea of Cortez near La Paz, Mexico. The island is part of a protected natural park and features turquoise bays and diverse marine species. The tour includes snorkeling among marine life and observing a colony of over 300 sea lions that live on the island. A local certified guide accompanies the group throughout the day. The tour provides snorkeling equipment and includes lunch and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. During the winter season, wetsuits are supplied for added comfort in cooler water. Hotel pickup and drop-off are not included, and participants must pay dock fees and admission charges separately. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and the minimum drinking age is 18. The tour requires at least four adults to operate and may be canceled if this minimum is not met, with a full refund or alternative date offered. Late arrival or absence of cruise ships is not refundable. Pregnant travelers over three months need medical approval to participate. Warm clothing is recommended from December to April.

Meet your guide in the morning at Marina Fonatur La Paz. On the boat ride to Espiritu Santo National Park, take in sweeping views of the coastline that most visitors never see. Make your way to a sea lion colony on arrival at the park, where you are free to snorkel in the UNESCO-protected waters. Your guide points out landmarks and marine life you might not have noticed on your own. Back on the boat, sail to Ensenada Grande where you eat fresh ceviche, sandwiches, and chips by pristine waters. Then continue to a secluded beach far from the crowds of the mainland. Swim, snorkel, or relax on the warm sand until it’s time to head back to La Paz. IMPORTANT NOTE: * Admission fee to Espiritu Santo National Park not included * From June 1st to August 31st snorkeling with the sea lions is prohibited. During this time we will pass by very close and be able to observe them from the boat and our snorkeling cavity will take place in "el candelero" * This activity is not recommended for travelers on a crew ship. We are not responsible for the return time and can result in missing your crew ship departure.
