This 6-hour boat tour from La Paz visits Espiritu Santo Island with certified marine biologist guides. The tour includes snorkeling equipment, lunch, and carbonated drinks. Visitors swim with sea lions when conditions allow; however, swimming near the sea lion rookery is prohibited in June, July, and August. During those months, guests observe sea lions from the boat and snorkel or hike at other locations on the island. The tour aims to avoid crowded beaches to provide a quieter environment. Guides provide information about the island’s ancient settlers, local wildlife, plant life, and the lifestyle of nearby communities. All visits require authorized permits as this is a protected area.

Snorkel with friendly sea lions at Los Islotes (colony of over 600 sea lions). During June, July, and August (reproductive season) we snorkel at other sites, like rocky reefs that hopefully also have sea lions! Lunch on a sandy beach and turquoise water of the island (shade, benches, towels, ceviche, chips, water, and soda) Visit to points of interest on the island (abandoned pearl farm, mangroves, rock formations, and bird colonies). Chance to see dolphins, whales, and/or manta rays (mobulas).
