This two-hour surf lesson takes place at a watersports center located directly on the beach in Essaouira, chosen for its favorable surfing conditions. The instructors are fully qualified and use new equipment updated annually. The center is family-run and provides wetsuits for every participant to use during the lesson. The session focuses on teaching basic surfing skills and safety in the water.

The lesson begins by working on balance before practicing the pop-up to the feet. It includes learning to identify the correct waves and the best spot to catch them. Posture and stance are reviewed to help increase the duration of riding the wave.
