Overview

This trekking adventure begins with a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla airport, known for its mountain views and challenging landing. From Lukla, the trek continues on foot through diverse Himalayan landscapes, including large glacier areas and traditional Sherpa villages. Along the route, travelers visit Buddhist monasteries at Monjo, Namche, Tengboche, and Panboche before reaching Everest Base Camp, surrounded by towering peaks. The trek lasts about 15 days, requiring moderate to difficult hiking ability. Participants should be able to walk approximately 6 to 7 hours each day. The trek includes accommodations, meals, and support from experienced Sherpa guides and porters. Permits for Everest National Park and the Trekkers Information Management System (TIMS) are also included. The package covers domestic flights from Kathmandu to Lukla and back, airport transfers in Kathmandu by private vehicle, and necessary government paperwork and taxes. Equipment such as down jackets, four-season sleeping bags, and duffel bags are provided for the trek and must be returned after completion. A comprehensive first aid kit is carried by the guide to handle emergencies. Groups larger than six also receive an assistant trekking guide with full support.
