Franz Josef Glacier is a large glacier on New Zealand’s West Coast, surrounded by rainforest and mountain ranges. This helicopter flight lasts about 25 minutes and includes views of the glacier, the nearby Southern Alps, and the surrounding West Coast region. During the flight, the helicopter lands on an alpine peak for around 10 minutes, allowing passengers to step out and view the landscape from above. Passengers should be aware that boarding involves climbing two high ladder-style steps.
