Overview

This small-group bus tour lasts about 10 and a half hours, taking visitors from Barcelona to the medieval village of Pals, the coastal town of Calella de Palafrugell, and the historic city of Girona. The tour begins with a meeting near the Palace of Catalan Music in Barcelona at 8:15am, followed by departure at 8:30am through the Eixample district and Catalan countryside. At Pals, guests have about one hour to walk with the guide around the village’s old tower, stone archways, and walls, plus free time to visit local artisan shops and cafés. Next, the tour goes to Calella de Palafrugell on the Costa Brava coast, where visitors have roughly two and a half hours to explore the whitewashed streets, walk coastal trails, or swim in a secluded cove. Those who purchase the lunch upgrade can enjoy a traditional seafood paella at a seafront restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean. The last stop is Girona, arriving around 3pm. Guests receive a brief introduction from the guide, then have two hours of free time to see highlights such as the Gothic Cathedral, the Jewish Quarter, the Arab Baths, or to walk along the Roman walls. After the visit, the tour concludes at Plaça Catalunya in Barcelona around 7pm, where participants can take public transport or taxis to their hotels. The tour includes a local guide, optional hotel pickup, small group size limited to 20, and air conditioning on the vehicle. Food and drinks are not included except the optional lunch.
