No vacation is complete without sampling an array of the best food the country has to offer! Embark on a walking tour that takes you through the streets of Old Quarter, where crowded roads and hidden alleyways house a number of restaurants and stalls that are just waiting to be discovered. Follow your local tour guide as he brings you to well known eateries where you'll get to sample delicious local street food like the traditional beef noodle soup and refreshing mixed fruit, and wash down your food with some Vietnamese coffee or ice cold beer! Once you've had your fill, you'll make a trip to the Bach Ma Temple, believed to be the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi, and the Dong Xuan Market, the city's largest indoor market towering 4 storeys tall. As an added bonus to the tour, your last stop will take you to a local theater to catch a traditional Vietnamese Water Puppet Show that depicts the simple lives of the farmers in the countryside. See an entertaining and unique performance where puppeteers immerse themselves in the waters as they use their strong arms to control the puppets. At the end of your tour, you can choose to explore around a bit more, head back to your hotel on your own, or continue the rest of your own itinerary as you please.
