Overview

This full-day coach tour lasts about eight hours and fifteen minutes, departing from Auckland to the Hobbiton Movie Set. Pickup begins at 6:15 AM from selected inner-city hotels, followed by check-in and boarding at the Sky City Coach Terminal at 7:00 AM. The coach leaves Auckland at 7:15 AM, traveling through scenic farmland toward the movie set. Upon arrival around 9:30 AM, a guide leads a walking tour of the Hobbiton Movie Set, featuring Hobbit holes, Bilbo's home, the Green Dragon Inn, and the Party Tree. After the tour, guests receive a complimentary beer, ale, cider, or ginger beer at the Green Dragon Inn. Lunch follows in the Party Marquee with the Hobbiton Banquet Feast. The group departs Hobbiton at 1:15 PM and returns to the Sky City Coach Terminal by 3:30 PM. Hotel drop-offs begin at 3:45 PM. The coach provides free Wi-Fi and commentary during the journey. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included for selected inner-city locations.
