Overview

The tour begins with hotel pickup and a transfer to Cam Thanh Coconut Village, located in the Bay Mau Coconut Forest. Visitors board a bamboo basket boat for a one-hour ride through waterways lined with coconut palms. During this time, the guide explains traditional fishing methods using large nets, and participants have the opportunity to try fishing themselves. After the boat ride and activities in the coconut jungle, the group travels to Hoi An Ancient Town for a visit lasting about five hours. The tour includes stops at the Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, the Phung Hung Ancient House, and the Tan Ky Ancient House, which is over 200 years old. The Museum of Folklore, housed in a 150-year-old Chinese merchant’s home, is also visited, featuring exhibits on traditional local life and live folk art demonstrations. The 400-year-old Japanese Bridge is next, where guests can observe its carvings and paintings and learn about its cultural significance. Visitors have time to browse handicraft shops and art galleries in the town before enjoying a local dinner with regional specialties. After dinner, the tour continues with a 20-minute boat ride on the Hoai River at night. Participants release flower lanterns on the water as a gesture for good fortune. The evening concludes with a walk through Hoi An’s lantern-lit night market. The entire tour lasts about six and a half hours and includes hotel pickup and drop-off, mineral water, entrance fees, the basket boat ride, boat cruise and lantern release, a local dinner, and an English-speaking guide.
