This introductory scuba diving lesson takes place just off the coast of Lahaina on the island of Maui. The session begins with a 15-minute online lesson sent to participants after submitting a waiver and providing personal details including name, height, weight, and US men's shoe size to ensure proper equipment fit. On the day of the dive, participants meet at a designated shore location in Lahaina, which will be communicated the day before. The total duration of the lesson is about two hours and fifteen minutes. During this time, a professional guide leads a small group of up to four people through basic scuba diving skills at a comfortable pace. The dive occurs near Maui’s coral reefs, allowing participants to practice underwater techniques in a real ocean environment. All necessary scuba equipment and water are provided. Hotel pickup and drop-off are not included. Participants must be at least 12 years old and have basic swimming skills. Flying within 18 hours after diving is not allowed, so travelers should plan accordingly. Communication details are required to coordinate the meeting and provide instructions.

Orientation-and-Scuba-Intro
After completing forms and an online lesson, the participant meets at the beach for orientation and then suits up to try scuba diving on a coral reef in Maui. This activity is designed for beginners with no prior scuba experience, requiring only basic swimming skills and comfort in the ocean. Upon booking, a registration link and medical waiver are sent and must be completed promptly to identify any medical conditions needing doctor's clearance. The Discover Scuba Diver eLearning must be finished 24 hours before the dive, after which the meet-up location is provided. Flying within 18 hours after scuba diving is prohibited. Height, weight, and US men's shoe size are required for equipment fitting.
