The tour starts with pickup from hotels in Nadi, followed by a two and a half to three-hour drive through sugarcane farms, resorts, villages, and farmland to Pacific Harbor/Navua, known as Fiji's adventure capital. There is a fifteen-minute stop for coffee and restroom breaks along the way. Upon arrival, guests take a forty-five-minute boat cruise up the Navua River, passing tropical rainforests, farmlands, gorges, rapids, and waterfalls. Next, visitors enjoy a thirty-minute swim at the largest waterfall on the Navua River, known locally as the Jewel of Fiji. After the swim, a forty-five-minute ride on the "HMS BILIBILI," a bamboo raft that recreates the traditional river transport used by Fiji’s native ancestors, follows. A Fijian warrior then escorts guests to a traditional Fijian village for a two-hour visit. The village visit includes a welcome yaqona (kava) ceremony reserved for honored guests, stories about the village’s history founded by Englishman John Humphrey Danford, and cultural dances performed by village men and women. Guests also observe tapa painting and mat and basket weaving demonstrations. A buffet lunch featuring lovo, a traditional meal cooked underground, is provided. The visit concludes with a village tour and a farewell song before returning to Nadi. The total duration of the tour is approximately nine to ten hours.
