Overview

This half-day zipline tour in Kaikoura lasts about 3.5 hours and includes five zipline flights totaling 2.2 kilometers across farmland and native forest. The tour begins with a scenic drive from the center of Kaikoura, offering views of the Seaward Range and South Bay. Participants will explore a private 3,000-acre station on foot with a guided walk through native forest and farmland. The trip also includes a ride across a river and farm tracks in a specially designed 4X4 Unimog vehicle with air conditioning. The tour includes pick-up and drop-off at the EcoZip homebase and a coastal drive to the gear-up location. Expert local guides lead every part of the tour. Tree planting is included in season as part of the commercial conservation experience.
