This four-hour sailing and snorkeling trip runs along the Kona coast aboard a 50-foot catamaran named Kona Style. Guests can watch for dolphins and whales from either the shaded cabin or the sunny nets on the boat. The catamaran features a large staircase for easy entry and exit to calm waters where participants snorkel among coral reefs, reef fish, and sea turtles near Kealakekua Bay and the Captain Cook Monument. The tour includes a continental breakfast with freshly baked pastries, fresh fruit, and 100% Kona coffee served onboard. For lunch, guests receive deli sandwiches or mixed greens. All snorkeling gear, floatation devices, and instruction are provided. Non-alcoholic drinks such as water, juice, and soft drinks are complimentary. Alcoholic beverages including beer, wine, and liquor are available for purchase onboard. This outing is conducted by a native Hawaiian owned company and requires guests who plan to snorkel to be competent swimmers without flotation device assistance. Children under five must remain on the boat and be accompanied by an adult. The vessel is not handicap accessible and has weight restrictions for water entry. Check-in is at a retail location near the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Beach Kona Hotel 45 minutes before departure, where discounted parking is available.

Join us for a sail down the coast as you enjoy a continental breakfast with Kona coffee and breathtaking views of the Kona coast. As we sail down the coast, scan the horizon for hahalua (manta rays), nai'a (dolphins) and kohola (whales - seasonal). Upon reaching the Kealakekua Bay marine sanctuary, which is home to the Captain Cook monument, receive a water safety briefing along with snorkel equipment, snorkel instruction and water noodles. After your briefing, use our grand staircase to get in/out of the water where you spend an hour snorkeling in the marine sanctuary with its abundance of i'a (fish) and vibrant coral structures. After snorkeling, enjoy your pre selected lunch as we set the sails and head back to Kona. Our snorkel and sail adventure is a great way to spend your morning - sailing on a beautiful catamaran with a fun and engaging crew, breathtaking views of the coastline, an abundance of marine life and some of the best snorkeling in the world!
