Takachiho Gorge Takachiho Gorge is a valley formed by the volcanic eruption of Mount Aso in ancient times. It is characterized by cliffs on both sides, the 17-meter-high Manai Falls, and three bridges built over the same gorge, which, along with the beautiful scenery, contribute to the beauty of Takachiho Gorge. Daikanbo Daikanbo is located on the north side of the Aso caldera rim and is one of the most representative scenic spots in the Aso region. From the observation deck, the view opens up, offering a panoramic view of the vast Aso Basin, the Five Peaks of Aso, and the rolling mountains. It is also an excellent place to appreciate Aso's magnificent volcanic landscape. Kurokawa Onsen Kumamoto has abundant natural hot spring resources, but few are as famous as Kurokawa Onsen. This hot spring town, with its dreamy scenery and numerous culinary delights, has about 30 ryokans (traditional Japanese inns) arranged neatly in a retro style with black as the base color, creating a truly stunning landscape.
