This 6-hour cycling tour follows a trail along the opposite side of Lake Dunstan from the road between Cromwell and Clyde. The route includes 450 meters of clip-on pathways attached to the rockface and crosses the Hugo Suspension Bridge, all on a well-maintained trail surface. Along the way, informational boards explain the area's history, covering the goldrush era and the construction of New Zealand's largest dam. After cycling, participants return by the Dunstan Explorer Boat, which travels back up the lake and passes sections of the trail not visible from the bike. The tour includes bike hire, a safety briefing, an 8-liter rear trunk bag, a bike lock, puncture repair kit, pump, and a Specialized Camber helmet with MIPs protection. Executive shuttles are provided to the trail start and from the boat at the end. Rider insurance and lunch are not included.
