This is a 2-day tour from Marrakech to Zagora and back. On the first day, travelers are picked up from their hotel in Marrakech between 7 and 8 in the morning. The group drives to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where a licensed guide leads a visit to the historic fortress. After the visit, the journey continues through the Draa Valley, passing many ksar and kasbah villages visible from the road. In the late afternoon, the group arrives at the Zagora desert dunes for a camel ride timed to coincide with sunset. After the camel ride, dinner is served outdoors near a campfire. Overnight accommodations are provided in a tent at the Berber camp, either at the Caravane Du Sud Authentic Tizi Camp or the Luxury Camp, depending on the booking choice. On the second day, participants wake early to watch the sunrise over the desert, followed by breakfast at the camp. The return trip to Marrakech includes another camel ride and a drive through Ouarzazate with views of the Atlas Mountains. Transportation throughout the tour is by 4x4 or minibus, accompanied by a local driver. The tour ends with a drop-off at the original hotel in Marrakech. Included in the tour are nightly accommodations, transportation, a licensed guide at Ait Ben Haddou, dinner, breakfast, two camel rides in the Sahara Desert, and hotel pickup and drop-off.
