This is a 14-hour day trip from Athens to Meteora by air-conditioned coach with WiFi and USB chargers. The bus departs from Athens Larissa Train Station at 8:00 AM. About halfway to Meteora, there is a short stop at Kamena Vourla, a bus-stop restaurant by the sea, where travelers can refresh and see views of the island of Evia. Arrival in Kalabaka is around 12:30 PM, where a local expert guide meets the group. A 30-minute break follows at a local air-conditioned restaurant offering a choice of main dishes, Greek salad, bread, and water. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. Lunch is optional and must be selected when booking. After lunch, the tour continues with a five-hour comprehensive visit to Meteora. It includes panoramic views of all six monasteries and entry into three of the most popular monasteries: Great Meteoron, Varlaam, and St Stephen (Agios Stefanos) Nunnery.
