Overview

This 45-minute domed jet boat ride takes place on the Niagara River in Canada. The boat travels along 18 miles (29 km) of the Niagara Gorge, reaching the turbulent waters of the Niagara Whirlpool. The boat has a covered dome that keeps passengers dry throughout the trip, even as waves splash around the boat. A guide provides live commentary during the ride, pointing out features along the river. Life jackets are provided for safety. Passengers must arrive 45 minutes before departure for registration, safety orientation, and to sign a participation agreement. The tour does not include views of Niagara Falls. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and there is a minimum height requirement of 40 inches for the dry seats. Wheelchair users can access the dock but cannot bring wheelchairs on the boat. Souvenir photos are available for purchase at the end of the trip, but are not included. Guests must arrange their own transportation to the dock.

Itinerary

Experience the natural awe-inspiring scenery of the Niagara Gorge. Learn about the river's historical significance and feel the thrill of Devil's Hole class 5 whitewater and the magnitude of the Whirlpool. The glass dome offers a panoramic view of the river while keeping you from getting wet, so feel free to bring a camera to record the experience! We do not see Niagara Falls on any of our tours. Our tours travel upriver into the Niagara Gorge, through the Class V Rapids at Devil’s Hole and up to the Niagara Whirlpool. The Whirlpool and Niagara Falls are separated by a stretch of Class VI rapids that are unnavigable (and illegal) to pass through.

Take Dumfries St. off the Niagara Parkway, follow the road down. At the Queenston Waterfront sign, follow the road and turn left down to our parking lot. Guests are asked to arrive 45 minutes prior to trip for check in and mandatory safety briefing. Refunds will not be given for late arrivals.
