The tour is led by a small family-run business that shares authentic North Norwegian coastal culture and traditions passed down through generations. Participants will travel to locations chosen to increase the chances of seeing the Northern Lights. Along the way, the guides provide stories about local coastal life and history from their own perspective, adding a charming personal touch to the experience. The tour includes warm overalls to keep guests comfortable outdoors. A small illustrated leaflet about Tromso’s history is provided, along with a video explaining the Northern Lights from both scientific and mythological viewpoints. Refreshments are offered, with a choice of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or broth, accompanied by cake. A tripod is supplied for photography, and each participant receives a photo taken of themselves with the Northern Lights. Winter boots are not included, so guests should bring their own if needed.
