Overview

The harbor is located in Motobu, Okinawa, about a 15-minute drive from the Churaumi Aquarium. Departing from the harbor, it only takes about 10 minutes by boat to reach the Marine Leisure House, a large fishing raft floating on the sea! With a water depth of approximately 18 to 20 meters, there is a wide variety of fish species and a higher density of fish than fishing on rocks or reef beaches, so both beginners and experienced anglers can fully enjoy the fun of fishing here. Experienced anglers can bring their own fishing gear and purchase a boat ticket. Beginners can choose a full fishing package, which includes a fishing rod, bait, tackle, and a boat ticket. The large deck of the fishing raft is spacious and stable, accommodating 50 to 80 visitors. Compared to boat fishing, the fishing raft is less prone to rocking, so there is no need to worry about seasickness. If you don't want to cook yourself, you can release the fish you catch, or take them back to restaurants near the harbor that offer cooking services. The raft has a sunshade roof, comfortable tables and chairs, and a toilet. It is perfect for fishing enthusiasts to spend quality time with family and friends, and even non-fishing companions can find their own fun in this marine world.

This activity will be conducted entirely in Japanese. Please be sure to bring your own drinking water or beverages. If you plan to stay on the fishing raft for a long time, we recommend bringing snacks and light meals. Due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather or sea conditions, services may be temporarily suspended on the day of your visit. In such cases, we will notify you via the email address you provided during the booking process. Please check your email (including your spam folder) for updates. Rain will not cause difficulties for boat navigation, and departures will proceed as scheduled even on rainy days. If passengers choose to cancel due to rain, cancellation fees will be applied according to regulations. The meeting point is located inside Toguchi Port, which has a free parking area. Departure Times: 8:30-11:00 AM, 13:00-15:00 PM, one ship every 30 minutes. Please arrive at the store 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time for registration. If you miss your scheduled departure, you will be placed on the next available boat. Each boat can accommodate approximately 12 guests. Seating is assigned in order of booking. In case of a full boat, you will be placed on the next available boat. You are free to choose your return time. The port is about a 10-minute boat ride from the raft. Sometimes the captain will go to the port to pick up and drop off passengers, but usually the captain stays on the fishing raft. If you want to end your trip, just let the captain know (the captain's break time is from 12:00-13:00 and there will be no boat service). The last boat back in the morning is at 11:45, and the last boat back in the afternoon is at 16:45. This package includes one round-trip ferry ticket. Additional ferry tickets will be required for passengers who wish to travel between ports multiple times on the same day. Life jackets must be worn while on the boat and when boarding the fishing raft. No beverages or food are sold on the fishing raft, and drinking water is not provided. Please be sure to bring your own beverages and food before boarding. You may take the fish you catch with you, or release them. Near the port, there is a restaurant called "Uminchu no Eki Sakanakana" that offers cooking services. If needed, please go there on your own and pay the cooking fee and the cost of your order on site. The cooking fee starts from approximately JPY 3,000 per person, and the price varies depending on the size and type of fish. Please refer to the actual cost at the restaurant.
