Nearby is the dry riverbed of Kakni, illustrating the desert's harsh conditions. Another stop is Khaba Fort, a ruined fort near Jaisalmer that overlooks Kuldhara village. Visitors can examine the broken entrance and climb to the top for panoramic views of the desert and ruins. The overnight stay takes place on custom-made bedrolls under the open sky without a tent.
