The safari includes stops at the abandoned Kuldhara Village, located 21 kilometers from Jaisalmer, where visitors can explore deserted mud houses, dusty roads, sandstone walls, and an old temple maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India. Nearby is the dry riverbed of Kakni, illustrating the desert's harsh conditions. Another stop is Khaba Fort, a ruined fort near Jaisalmer that overlooks Kuldhara village. Visitors can examine the broken entrance and climb to the top for panoramic views of the desert and ruins. The overnight stay takes place on custom-made bedrolls under the open sky without a tent. Dinner is served in the evening, and breakfast is provided the following morning. Guests can experience the desert sunset, night sky, and sunrise during the stay. The tour lasts approximately 18 to 20 hours, ending around 10:30 AM the next day. East of the village is the dried Kakni riverbed illustrating the area's unlivable conditions.

Khaba Fort, near Jaisalmer in Khaba village within the Thar Desert, is a ruined fort that once housed a kingdom and served as the center of Kuldhara village.
