Overview
This 90-minute guided self-drive buggy tour begins with a check-in at the Off Road Adventures shop where participants meet their guide. A short transfer of about 5 minutes takes the group to a private off-road park near Queenstown. After putting on helmets, eye protection, gloves, and any wet-weather gear if needed, the guide provides a safety briefing followed by hands-on buggy training. Drivers then navigate a course featuring steep climbs, creek crossings, corners, and forest tracks, stopping at viewpoints overlooking Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu for photos. The guide assists with capturing these photos, which are available onsite. After the drive, participants return to central Queenstown by transfer. The tour includes all safety equipment, wet-weather gear if required, return transfers, and complimentary photos. Food, drinks, and personal travel insurance are not included.
