The NZONE Tandem Skydive in Queenstown takes approximately three and a half hours from start to finish. The experience begins with a courtesy coach transfer to the drop zone. Upon arrival, participants receive all necessary safety equipment and attend a safety briefing conducted by a qualified jumpmaster. After preparation, the tandem skydive begins with a plane ascent to the jump altitude. Participants then free-fall at speeds of up to 200 kilometres per hour before the parachute opens for a controlled descent back to the ground. The package includes the tandem skydive, safety briefing, safety equipment, and transport to the drop zone. Optional extras such as photo and video recordings are available but not included. Hotel pickup, drop-off, food, and drinks are also not included. Participants must complete a medical questionnaire before the skydive. Weight restrictions apply: the minimum weight is 40 kilograms (88 pounds), and those over 95 kilograms require assessment by the Tandem Master at the drop zone. Anyone under 18 years old must have written consent from a parent or guardian. Parachuting involves inherent risks related to weather, health, and equipment, and all participants accept these risks by taking part.
