Overview

The Adelaide Oval RoofClimb Walking Tour lasts about two hours and takes place on the roof of Adelaide Oval in the center of Adelaide, Australia. The tour begins at the Western Stand, where participants receive safety equipment and a climb suit before starting the RoofClimb. Guided by an experienced leader, the group crosses a link bridge to the Riverbank Stand. Along the route, the group stops at an open viewing deck overlooking the southern end of the stadium. Groups are limited to 14 people to maintain a safe and manageable size. Included in the tour are a souvenir cap, a group photo, and an achievement certificate. Cameras and GoPros are not allowed during the climb, but the guide takes photos that can be purchased after the tour. There are nine departure times available when booking. Food, drinks, and hotel transfers are not included. Participants must wear closed-toe, rubber-soled shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Children aged 8 to 15 must be accompanied by an adult, with a minimum height of 5.1 feet and a maximum weight of 299 pounds required. Travelers over 75 years old must provide medical clearance. Safety and hygiene measures include hand sanitizing stations, professional dry cleaning of climb suits after each use, and disinfection of all equipment. Climbers must not be intoxicated and will have their breath alcohol level checked before the climb.
