Overview

The Barossa Valley Voyager Small-Group Wine Tour with Lunch from Adelaide lasts about eight hours. The tour begins with hotel pickup in Adelaide and includes bottled water throughout the day. The group travels approximately one hour north to the Barossa Valley wine region. The tour visits three wineries, each for about 45 minutes. Possible wineries include Kies Family Wines, known for six generations of grape growing and a restored stone cottage cellar door; Langmeil Winery, home to the Freedom Shiraz vine planted in 1843, the oldest producing vine in the world, and a restored 1842 trading village; and Seabrook Wines, which offers tastings on a deck overlooking a 20-acre vineyard and the Barossa foothills. The specific wineries visited may vary depending on availability. The tour also includes a two-course lunch with a main and dessert, served at a winery or local venue, accompanied by a glass of wine. Vegetarian options are available if dietary requirements are provided at booking. After the wineries, the tour stops for about 45 minutes at Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop, where guests can browse food products or have coffee by the lake. The tour group is limited to eight people and is not suitable for children under 18. The itinerary and venues may change without notice. The tour ends with hotel drop-off in Adelaide.
