GoCars accommodate up to 2 passengers, with prices charged per GoCar rather than per individual.
The pickup location must be selected during booking and is where the reserved GoCar will be available.
Renters must be at least 21 years old and present a major credit card along with a valid driver’s license at check-in; the license must be physically carried, not a photocopy, and international licenses are not required for foreign customers.
Passengers must be at least 4 years old, and small children need to fit safely into one of the DOT-approved helmets; although the GoCar is registered as a motorcycle, a motorcycle license is not needed to operate it.
All renters must be able to read, understand, and sign a standard liability release and waiver form (participant agreement).
On rental day, a $500 security deposit is held on the customer’s credit card; if CDW or SLI insurance is chosen, the deposit is $300. The deposit is released upon return of the GoCar.
