Overview

This one-hour boat cruise departs from Pier 43 1/2 at Fisherman's Wharf and follows San Francisco’s waterfront. The route passes by the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, the North Beach neighborhood, and Fort Mason before sailing under the 4,200-foot Golden Gate Bridge. After crossing beneath the bridge, the cruise continues past the Marina District, which was damaged in the 1989 earthquake. On the return trip, the boat rounds the Marin Headlands wildlife reserves and the town of Sausalito, then passes Angel Island State Park on the left. The route also includes views of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge and Coit Tower before returning to Pier 43, where sea lions at Pier 39 can be seen. The cruise is on a boat with indoor and outdoor seating, restrooms, and a seasonal snack bar. A multilingual personal audio guide in 16 languages provides narration throughout. "Straight to the gate" access is included, allowing flexible boarding, and the ticket is open for use on any day through the end of the year. Restrooms are available onboard. Food and drinks are not included but can be purchased at the full-service bar. Gratuities are not included.
