This 2-hour Segway exploration covers about 5.5 miles through Scottsdale’s Old Town, Arts District, and Waterfront. The tour begins with a private training session in a controlled parking lot to ensure participants are comfortable riding the Segway. After training, the guide leads the group through more than 30 points of interest. The route starts in Old Town Scottsdale, where the guide discusses the area’s history, culture, local businesses, and public art installations. Next, the tour moves to the Scottsdale Civic Center, a park featuring fountains, greenery, and additional art pieces. Riders then pass the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, which hosts rotating exhibits approximately every three months. The tour continues to the Old Adobe Mission, known for its historical architecture, and the Rusty Spur Saloon, a historic bar still in operation. Along the way, participants view Camelback Mountain and learn about the only constructed bridge designed by Paolo Soleri, including information about his other works.
