Overview

This evening tour in Seoul combines a walking visit and vehicle transfers to three notable night attractions over about four hours. It begins with a stroll from Hyehwa Station to Changgyeonggung Palace, where guests spend an hour exploring the palace grounds at night while hearing stories about its history and significance. After the palace, transportation by vehicle takes the group to Gwangjang Market. Here, participants sample over 11 Korean dishes, including traditional favorites like Jeon pancakes and the popular Kkwabaegi donuts, with optional tasting of live octopus for those who choose. The guide explains Korean drinking traditions during the food tasting, which also includes Makgeolli rice wine. The final stop is a half-hour visit to Jogyesa Temple to see the lanterns and learn about Korean Buddhism. The tour includes all entrance fees, dinner, snacks, in-vehicle air conditioning, and an English-speaking licensed guide. Vehicle rides connect the attractions, but walking is required at the palace. A vegan meal option is available for an extra charge, and the tour runs rain or shine.
