The Sicily 1.5-2 Hour Guided Quad Bike Excursion of Etna takes place on the slopes of Mount Etna, the highest volcano in Europe. The tour lasts between one and a half and two hours. It begins with a safety briefing and instructions on how to operate the quad bikes, which can carry up to two people. The route crosses eruptive fractures and long lava fields covered with black volcanic sand. Participants will see explosive craters from a distance and visit a lava flow cave. The ride continues through Etna’s broom forest, descends along lava flow channels, and passes through landscapes resembling the surface of the moon, as well as wooded areas surrounded by solidified lava. The excursion requires some driving skill and is not allowed for children under six years old.
