Overview

This full-day cycling tour in Siem Reap covers about 30 kilometers on mostly flat roads and lasts around eight and a half hours. You start at Angkor Wat, exploring its large galleries and bas-reliefs before heading toward Angkor Thom. Shortly after the city gate, you leave main roads and follow quiet forest trails rarely used by tourists. Next, you cycle to Bayon Temple, known for its stone faces, and then to the Elephant Terrace, where a lunch break takes place. If you selected the lunch option, a local meal and snacks are provided. Those without lunch included have time to eat independently before regrouping. After lunch, the ride continues through jungle paths to Ta Prohm Temple, famous for tree roots growing over the ruins. The guide explains the history and symbolism at each site. The final part of the tour passes through rural villages and forest tracks on the way back to Siem Reap, arriving mid-afternoon.
