This half-day jeep tour lasts about four and a half hours and begins with a pickup from the hotel in Siem Reap at 8:00 am. The tour starts with a visit to the War Museum Cambodia, the largest war museum in the country, where visitors can see a unique collection of war machines used during World War II, various types of landmines, and rare photographs from that period. After the museum, the tour continues by jeep to the countryside surrounding Siem Reap. The route passes through rural villages, rice paddies, gardens, and ponds, offering views of local farming activities. The first stop in the countryside is a Buddhist temple in a village, where visitors can receive a spiritual blessing from a monk and listen to Khmer fortune-telling. Next, the tour visits a local producer of bamboo rice cakes to observe the preparation process and taste this traditional food. The final stop is at a local family home where basket weaving is demonstrated, and visitors can try making baskets themselves. Throughout the tour, the guide provides information about daily life in Cambodian villages. The tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off, transportation in a restored army jeep, bottled water, snacks, all fees and taxes, and a professional English-speaking guide. After the visits, the jeep returns to Siem Reap for hotel drop-off.
