Book on Viator Confirmed right away, but you pay full price.€260This nearly nine-hour small-group tour combines a boat cruise under the Cliffs of Moher with visits to the Aran Islands and Connemara. The trip starts with a ferry ride from Doolin Pier, where you will see the Cliffs of Moher from the sea. From there, the tour goes to Inis Oirr (Inisheer), the smallest of the Aran Islands, where you will have about two and a half hours to explore the island. You can optionally take a horse and cart ride to the Plassey Shipwreck, though this is not included in the price. After returning by ferry to Doolin Pier, the tour continues along the Wild Atlantic Way coastal route, including a scenic drive through south Connemara back to Galway. Along the way, there are several short stops to take in the landscape and landmarks such as the ruins of O'Brien's Castle on Inis Oirr. The vehicle used for the land portions has air conditioning, and a local guide accompanies the group throughout. Hotel pickup is available if arranged directly with the operator at least one day before the tour. Lunch and gratuities are not included. The route and timing depend on weather conditions, especially for the ferry crossings and the boat cruise under the cliffs, so the itinerary may change. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for the island visit and other outdoor stops.
