Overview

This three-hour bus tour begins early with a Navajo guide who introduces the group before heading into the heart of Monument Valley. The guide selects an ideal spot near the Totem Pole Monument to watch the sunrise as the valley’s mesas, buttes, and spires gradually light up. Participants should bring a camera to capture the changing colors. After sunrise, the group moves to the Big Hogan Arch where a musician performs live, using the natural acoustics of the amphitheater. The tour continues with stops at landmarks such as John Ford's Point, Three Sisters, and Mitten View, allowing visitors to see these well-known formations as they glow in the morning light. The tour includes pickup and drop-off from designated locations for overnight KOA guests or from the View Hotel meeting point outside the guided loading area. Tribal Park admission and refreshments are not included.
