Overview

This 90-minute walking tour of Shibuya in Tokyo is led by an English-speaking local guide and includes photos taken during the tour. The tour begins at the Hachiko statue, where the guide explains the history of the area. Next, participants cross Shibuya Crossing, known as the world’s busiest pedestrian crossing, spending about ten minutes there. The route continues through Shibuya Center-gai, the district’s main streets, for twenty minutes, passing neon-lit restaurants and bars. Visitors then spend ten minutes at Nonbei Yokocho, a street lined with traditional izakaya. The tour proceeds to Miyashita Park for twenty minutes, where participants can see popular illuminations. After that, the group explores the basement floor of Shibuya Mark City for twenty minutes. The final stop is Shibuya Scramble Square’s observation deck, a view spot where visitors spend ten minutes enjoying panoramic views of the district. Entrance and experience fees are included.
