Overview
Xoximilco welcomes you with a Mexican folklore party full of colours, music, flavours and dancing. Live the customs and legends that characterise these happy people that celebrate life through singing and dancing. Come aboard one of the famous and colourful trajineras that recreate the boats previously used to transport flowers, fruit and vegetables, known as the floating gardens. Navigate the canal network under the stars while listening to mariachi songs or get ready to dance to the rhythm of the marimba. Any Mexican-style evening wouldn’t be complete without food and good tequila. Enjoy a three course meal using the best of Mexican cuisine and open bar of tequila, beer, flavoured fresh water and soft drinks. Get into the festive atmosphere with traditional live music and be amazed with the sounds of mariachi, boleros trios, Jarocho quartets and marimba bands. Come and live it in person! Start time From September to March: at 7:15pm. From April to August: at 7:45pm. Boarding schedule of the first “trajinera”: from September to March at 8pm. From April to August: at 8:30pm. Opening days are High season (Daily) and Low season (Monday-Saturday). Wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Min. Age: 5 years old. Please advise at your purchase, in the ticket box, or in the trajinera at the beginning of the tour if you are allergic to any kind of food or if you are vegetarian. The trajineras have a maximum capacity of 20 passengers
