On Sundays and public holidays, the market visit is replaced by a visit to the vegetable garden at the Tuscan farmhouse, where participants pick fresh ingredients. After the market or garden visit, the group travels by air-conditioned minibus for about twenty minutes to a rustic farmhouse located in the Tuscan countryside outside Florence. At the farmhouse, participants take part in a cooking class where they prepare a four-course meal that includes pasta, bruschetta, Tuscan roast pork, and desserts such as tiramisu. Once the meal is prepared, participants sit down to enjoy the lunch accompanied by up to four glasses of Tuscan wine. A cooking diploma is awarded at the end of the class. Recipes from the class are sent by email after the tour. Hotel pickup and drop-off are not included. Gratuities are not covered. The tour cannot accommodate vegetarian, gluten-free, or other special dietary requirements. It is not suitable for people with walking difficulties or wheelchair users due to uneven and steep surfaces.
