Overview

Riders begin this eight-hour electric bike tour by cycling through the site of the former Château de Saint-Cloud, once Napoleon Bonaparte’s residence. The route continues with a stop at Parc de Saint-Cloud, where travelers can view a wide panorama of Paris. Next, the tour passes through Marnes-la-Coquette, a small village with about 1,800 residents, known for its notable homes. Cycling proceeds through La Forêt de Fausses-Reposes, combining quiet roads and dirt paths for pedestrians and cyclists when weather permits. The group then arrives at Place du Marché Notre-Dame, a traditional French food market where participants have about 50 minutes to select fresh products such as cheese, sausage, baguette, and wine for a picnic. Lunch is served by the Grand Canal in the park of Château de Versailles using the market purchases, while a picnic blanket is provided. After the break, riders visit the Grand Trianon Château, notable for its pink marble exterior favored by Louis XIV. Guests can admire and photograph the building from outside. The tour continues to the Petit Trianon Château, also called Marie-Antoinette’s Château, where participants walk through the courtyard and park to reach Marie-Antoinette’s Hamlet. About 30 minutes are given to explore this reconstructed village. Afterward, visitors spend half an hour in the Jardins du Château de Versailles, designed by André Le Nôtre. The final stop is the Palace of Versailles itself, offering 75 minutes for guests to tour its lavish rooms and the Hall of Mirrors. While participants explore, the guide takes care of returning the electric bikes to Paris. The return journey to the city is by train, with tickets and instructions provided to each traveler. This tour includes an electric bike, helmet, rain cape, saddlebag, picnic blanket, entrance tickets to the Château de Versailles, its gardens and fountains, Petit Trianon, and Marie-Antoinette’s Hamlet, as well as bike return service and a train ticket for the return trip. Food, drinks, and tips are not included.
