Overview
This four-hour tour begins with a scenic cruise across Lake Wakatipu departing from Queenstown on your choice of two vessels: the vintage TSS Earnslaw steamship or the modern Spirit of Queenstown. On arrival at Walter Peak High Country Farm, guests enter the Colonel’s Homestead Restaurant, where a buffet dinner is served featuring wood-fired BBQ, fresh salads, seasonal vegetables, and locally sourced meats, along with a variety of desserts. The restaurant overlooks Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding alpine scenery, set within landscaped gardens. After dinner, a farm demonstration takes place showcasing farm dogs herding sheep and allowing visitors to meet farm animals. Time permitting, guests may take a walk through the lakeside gardens before boarding the vessel for the return cruise to Queenstown. The tour includes live commentary on board, providing information throughout the cruise and farm visit.

Queenstown Departure
Start by checking in at the RealNZ Visitor Centre located at 88 Beach Street, Queenstown. Board the vessel to cross Lake Wakatipu en route to Walter Peak High Country Farm. After the visit, return across Lake Wakatipu to the original boarding point in central Queenstown.
